In SAS® Life Science Analytics Framework 5.2, when executing a job containing a PROC EXPORT which creates as its output an xlsx file, the initial execution successfully saves the output xlsx file to the repository.
However, with subsequent executions of the job, the xlsx file is not updated in the repository, i.e. the initial file remains, and SAS® Life Science Analytics Framework does not provide an indication of error. In addition the audit trail incorrectly indicates the file was saved/updated.
The metadata of the xlsx file is not updated and reflects the metadata of the content within the file.
A workaround does exists which is to create an xls file instead of an xlsx file.
Note the issue is limited to xlsx files created by PROC EXPORT and was introduced in SAS® Life Science Analytics Framework 5.2.
The issue is resolved by either applying a patch to SAS® Life Science Analytics Framework 5.2 or by upgrading the existing instance to 5.2.1.
Please contact SAS Technical Support or your Technical Account Manager if you have any questions concerning the appropriate resolution path for your site.
